Ectos?
What are Ectos anyway? I know they drop in the underworld but what good are they anyway?
Sorry if this is a rather n00b question but it's just on my mind atm |

Wiki has the answer for just about everything and can explain it better than most. Here's the link.

- used for FoW-armor
- used for trades above 100k - good for those who reached the 1 million gold limit for the storage |

It's also one way to measure how much something is worth-like GrownUpGwen said it is used for trades over 100k, but sometimes people just skip that part and just sell it for pure ectos.
Depending on the current market price, 100k=20 ectos (sometimes more, sometimes less). |

ok, I am guessing for those who wish to make lots of money and dont care about FoW armor, they sell it to people (not merchants) for lots of money
how much does 1 ecto usually go for then when selling it |

Depends on the price at the Rare Material Trader, but usually between 4,5k (buyers) and 5k (sellers), with 4,7k probably being the most used exchange rate.

Generally, you take the buy price and the trader and the sell price of the trader, and average the two (for any material).

Only real use is for FoW armor and trades above 100k, as said many times above. |

It's called Obsidian Armor. People refer to it as FoW since it's only available in Fissure of Woe (FoW).
It's just really really expensive armor basically. |
